What is the AABA?

An association of businesses and individuals operating in and around the Ashton area working together to promote cooperation in building sustainable markets for the future.

Our Vision

The AABA envisions appealing and thriving business areas which attract visitors from around the world to our communities and the area's recreational opportunities.

We support sustainable economic development consistent with these purposes:

• our agricultural base and heritage
• recreational access
• open space and watershed preservation
• community stewardship

The primary goals of the AABA are to:

• encourage businesses and individuals to recognize and realize their potential
• promote Ashton and the surrounding area as both a destination and a community
• facilitate viable new ideas, programs, and businesses
• promote cooperative planning through open, productive dialogue from all of the area's assets whether they be individuals, associations, institutions, or businesses.

	Ashton Asset Mapping In partnership with the Ashton Networking Committee, the AABA is sponsoring a program to begin mapping the local assets of our community and area. The result of this first year's effort will be a Free Business Directory. More information is here.
